15 May 2020Prakas 001 – NAC releases requirements for foreign CPA’s to be able to get authority from NAC to sign audit report.
A1. For new application:
- Residency of at least 60days effective from the submitted application date, and present in Cambodia for more than 182 days after the license has been approved.
- ASEAN CPA for ASEAN Nationality
- RFPA
- A person who is qualified according to criteria (Fit & Proper)
- Work Permit
A2. For renewal:
- Residency of at least 90days in 2019 and present in Cambodia for more than 182 days in 12 months period after the license has been approved.
- ASEAN CPA for ASEAN Nationality
- A person who is qualified according to criteria (Fit & Proper)
Prakas 103- NAC grants permission for existing foreign CPAs to continue to sign on audit reports until NAC releases the new prakas covering renewal of foreign CPA’s authority to sign audit reports. This approval is effective from Jan 2020 onwards.
