Senior Accounting & Tax Associate

 

  • Required Qualifications/Experience:

    • University degree; preferably in Accounting/ Finance or relevant fields.
    • Should possess an international professional qualification such as CAT or ACCA student is a plus
    • Holding a tax agent certificate from GDT is a plus
    • At least 2 years of relevant experience
    • Strong command of English, both writing and oral
    • Good command of Chinese is a plus
    • Good understand of CIFRS and Cambodian tax law.
    • Strong knowledge in monthly and annual tax declaration (TOS, VAT, PPT, WHT and TOI)
    • Proficient in the use of computers and related applications
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills
    • Pro-activeness in seeking knowledge, new tasks and responsibilities

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    Accounting

    • Be responsible for preparing and reviewing finance form (Purchase vouchers, payment vouchers, sale vouchers, receipt vouchers and journal vouchers, etc..)
    • Be responsible for bookkeeping and able to use accounting system (QB, Peachtree and Xero)
    • Be responsible for preparing payroll process and calculate tax on salary bases on tax law
    • Be responsible for preparing fixed assets registered, prepayment & accrual schedule, and reconciliation
    • Be responsible for reconciliation of bank balance, balance sheet and P&L items
    • Ensure all accounting practices, financial & management reports are compliant with current Accounting laws and regulations
    • Be able to develop the accounting policy and prepare financial manual
    • Deals with ad hoc problems and provides guidance, instruction and/ or solutions to solve the problem
    • Other tasks as assigned by the supervisors and managers

    Tax

    • Implement the tax services assigned by supervisor/executives to complete of the services as followings:
      1. Internal tax audit, Tax risk management and Tax risk assessment
      2. Transaction Advisory Services including Due Diligence & Mentoring
    • Be at client’s site for performance of work as necessary
    • Update clients on job status, follow up with team members/clients on outstanding matters
    • Dealing with tax auditor in relation to tax reassessment and tax compliance
    • Assist in organisation of seminars/training
    • Other tasks as assigned by the supervisors and executives

Accounting & admin assistant

Job Description:

  • Prepare finance forms (Payment vouchers, invoices, receipts vouchers and journal vouchers)
  • Perform bank reconciliation
  • Monthly tax preparation
  • Assist daily bookkeeping
  • Responsible for maintaining a stocked office supply inventory and fixed asset register
  • Prepare payment schedule to suppliers
  • Monitor Insurance claim
  • Collection and bank deposit
  • Request supplier quotation for comparison
  • Monitor physical check-up and NSSF card
  • Other accounting and admin tasks are assigned by Senior/Manager

Required Qualifications/skills 

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking or business related
  • Good comment in English and other language is a plus
  • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Internet & Email
  • Able to use accounting system (QuickBooks or Xero)
  • Good at interpersonal and communication skills

IT Assistant

Job Description:

  • Responsible for IT tasks such as support, monitor, maintain systems, networks troubleshoot, control testing, identify control weakness and update work progress to a manager
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in information technology/management information system or related degree.
  • Knowledge or experience of IT operation, IT networking, IT security or IT system

(such as servers, database, firewall, network, software, hardware or Linux system knowledge is an advantage)

  • Experiences at least 1 years in related IT field such as a network, a database, a SCCM system or an IT security are more advantage
  • Good written and spoken English, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multi-task and working pressure

Job Description:

  • Receive, direct and relay telephone messages and inquiries
  • Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
  • Pick up and deliver company mails
  • Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings, conference and conference telephone calls
  • Make appointment for partners
  • Prepare monthly taxi bills, courier, telephone and office car log sheet
  • Assist in preparation of sending documents

Job Description:

  • Support audit and other divisions in translating, formatting and reviewing English to Khmer financial reports.
  • Translate, format and review proposals, engagement letters and all kinds of communication letter
  • Monitor report status to meet the deadline
  • Process all reports & letters for Partner’s to sign off.
  • Processing office memo for Audit based on timeline and working status and payment condition.
  • Monitor and reconcile staff schedule and support arranging training events

Document processing associates

Job description:

  • Draft, translate and prepare English to Khmer (and vice versa) financial reports
  • Read and edit written documents and reports for grammatical and typographical error
  • Proof read reports to identify and correct errors or omissions
  • Evaluate the report such as page numbers, text spacing, positioning, font use, and others to ensure they conform to the set specifications
